I would like an open fire but my flue is too small, what can I do?

An open fire is very inefficient however attractive. If your flue is too small for an open fire you could consider a Jetmaster firebox or similar. These are open fires held within a firebox and this allows the fire to work well on a smaller flue size. They are also considerably more efficient than an open fire benefiting from a convection system which creates an efficiency of about 45% compared to an open fire’s 20%.
