There are a number of reasons as to why you may need a stack removed. You could be renovating a property and the chimney is not needed, or there are issues such as the stack being in a poor state of repair, letting damp into the property.

What we don’t offer is a complete chimney removal. To remove a whole flue can have implications for the building’s structure, however, it is possible to have a chimney breast removed, but this too needs be done in a way as to ensure structural integrity.  Removal of the chimney stack can be carried out from the outside lessening disturbance. Once the brickwork has been dismantled to roof level, new rafters will be put into place and covered by felt and battens. The job is completed by tiling over the area with matching tiles.
